Watching successful people take calculated risks and reap the rewards of carefully targeted real estate investments was a big part of my childhood. As interest rates leapt to 14%, I learned that the proper strategy could make success attainable in any market. That’s what growing up in a “real estate family” will do for you.
The new communities and subdivisions of my youth however have given way to the adoration I have for the charming older homes in Charlotte’s historic districts. Because creating culture and community have always been key, when I first arrived in the city I spent my initial years as a restaurateur, renovating and selling my own homes, and working as a professional actor. It was the incredible promise and creativity of Charlotte’s real estate market that eventually captured my full attention.
I am 20 years into the sales, development and revitalization of our first tier suburbs, historic neighborhoods, transit corridors, and center city uptown; with a hand in the renovation and design of over 50 historic and new “infill” homes in the city’s in-town areas.
