It's better to pay for your own inspection before putting your home on the market. Find out about any hidden problems and correct them in advance. Otherwise, you can count on the buyer's inspector finding them, at the worst possible time.
Everyone "thinks" they know their home but I have horror stories about sellers who missed that little drip etc etc and it cost them the sale or thousands of dollars. In addition I suggest an inspection company that employs engineers. If you have an older home or you have had repairs done when you bought the home or during your ownership consider some repair solutions are subjective. If you have an engineer certify your structure then you and the buyer have peace of mind and your home will sell faster than the one down the street that is a ?
